Welcome

We spent most of the day filming in the camp. Focused on schools and handed out cameras and video recorders to the kids, which they took to with a surprising amount of ease and talent. It was a tiring day and left me physically spent and with a sun-burnt neck. However, I feel uplifted emotionally and with a fuller sense of the Darfuri refugee situation. It’s not enough to be doing “alright” now, it’s about asking “what next?” and building a bridge to that healthy and productive future.
